Fresh from Rick Stein’s “From Venice to Istanbul”, oven fresh Pide with a large serve of freshly prepared Hummus. What’s on top? Lemon juice, cumin, sumac, coriander and chilli flakes sizzling in olive oil.
Is there anything better than fresh bread? This Pide, from the same book, is to Turkey what focaccia is to Italy. Soft inside, crispy outside and flavoured with rosemary and garlic olive oil. Just out of the oven.
